Hello everybody!

I just have published a new version of Enigma Optima which supports AV tasks.

It should be easy to install: drop in unpacked files into www.enigmaahome.net folder located in BOINC data folder.

I tested it the best I could but no beta this time so please check if it works as expected.

Not sure if I´m doing something wrong but I don´t get your app to work, it just uses the regular enigma_av.exe (and in the manager I see "1.05 Enigma AV" as app name.

Probably you forgot to shut down the BOINC client. Complete instruction on how to install an optimized app is available in Anonymous platform article in BOINC wiki in the section "To use the anonymous platform mechanism for a particular project"

In other words there is no need to reset the project. Simplified how-to is to

Stop the client (ie. File-> Shut down connected client...)
Copy files from downloaded archive (app_info.xml,...)
Start the client (File->Select computer; leave Host name and Password fields empty)

Thanks Agbar, I forgot that the client needs to read the xml file, problem solved.

I published a new version. It should be a couple percent faster on recent Intel CPUs and on most AMDs.

I made a compilation for 32-bit Linux available. Let me know how if it works for you. Especially if you use older Linux distribution, it may require different linking.

Can you modify/improve the AMD GPU app to work with newer drivers past 18.5.2 since the admins/devs seem to not give a fuck?
