Hey,

I have some GPU-only rigs that only run Enigma@Home GPU tasks and maintain a 2-day backlog as they lose internet connectivity at times. There rigs seem to have received no new work for the last few days, and the sum of GPU work for the rest of my machines has also shrunk rapidly.

Is everyone else still getting GPU tasks fed to them?

I seem to have no problem with CPU work.

Thanks for that - means it's probably my end.

The big change I have made was reduce the resource share of Enigma to 100 from 10000, in order to force a very small set of GPU jobs from another project through with high priority. Maybe the scheduler assumes my machines can no longer cope with steady work...

Will try change the resource share back to 10000 to see if it has any effect.

I tried setting the resource share to 10k again, and that did not fix the problem. I have also reset the project to no avail.

The machines that I have set to run only Enigma still have empty queues... any ideas?

I cannot for the life of me get the project to send me work, so I guess that's the end of the road for now.

If anyone has any other ideas, I'd love to hear from you.

Could it be because all my clients are running 7.6.33? I have not updated to the latest version of BOINC because it takes a lot of time to do.

I don't know. I'm all Linux, so I've been doing other projects since the summer retooling.

It just kept repeating that task requests resulted in zero tasks being downloaded.

However, I have stumbled across the solution! The Enigma@Home preferences have continued to reset my preferences to NOT run test work. As it turns out (at least for me), turning off test work eliminates all GPU work from the potential job pool and I was only fed CPU work.

Could an admin please have a look at this, and also is it possible to prevent this setting reverting back to 'no' repeatedly?

Thank you guys for all your input! Time to get my RAC back out of the dumps.
