I'm a newcomer to this project and am interested in the results of the WU's that I have processed. I a
have looked at the text result from the validator info and came across one that is different. It stated Unique result.
I have searched and found no explanation, so could someone please this.
I should say and introduce myself I am Bruce Haynes from Adelaide Australia.
Thank you

The server keeps full list of all returned results. Due to the way hillclimb algorithm works, it's possible to get the same result more than once. In fact, the closer to the end of the keyrange, the more returned results are already known.
The result is marked by the validator as 'unique' if the combination of machine settings is not found in the database at the moment of receiving processed workunit. It is then inserted to the unique results database, which also keeps id of the user who found it.
