Got this error today:

11/01/2010 6:24:47 PM Enigma@Home [error] MD5 check failed for m3_yngzo50_d_2705

I've had three hash fails already: m3_yngzo50_d_2203, d_2476 and d_2957. d_1891, d_1841 and lower were all fine.

Message 1492 - Posted: 12 Jan 2010, 16:38:56 UTC - in response to Message 1491.

I seem to be getting download errors on nearly every other work unit.

Number yngzo50_0_11482406_1_3, work unit 10909699 is a typical example.

From the logs, it seems other systems had the same or similar result.

That's a workunit from broken batch.
I removed most of them, but it's almost impossible to find and remove all of them manually, so there are some left in the server queue.

I've just added new ciphertext, #12 from here: http://cryptocellar.web.cern.ch/cryptocellar/bgac/UltimateEnigma.html

There are 3 workunit types: full ciphertext, left 72 letters and right 72 letters.

The latest batch of WUs (yngzo50_0_12582648_0_0 using enigma_m4_2 version 522) seem to be VERY confused about percent complete and time remaining, and do not "sync in" until they are almost finished.

That's a known problem.
These workunits are very short, so to avoid bandwidth problems and server overload, their lenght was increased in a way not completely supported by the wrapper.
There is no easy fix for this, as it would require rebuilding a lot of things.
