Hello,

I have just decided to add this project as WWII crypto interests me however my BOINC client is having problems with starting this project.

I created a new account and then attached, the BOINC clinet download a few files and WU but has done nothing with them. Also there is one file (job_1.22.xml) that it has been trying to download now for 2 days but it keeps getting told to back off.

Any help with this please..

WU's under TASKS are wrmkx102_0_xxxxxxxx_xx_0, though status say's they are downloading but do not appear in TRANSFERS, only file in TRANSFER is the job_1.22.xml

Well, I gave up and stopped BOINC, delete the project directory from my system and then started BOINC and BOINC has downladed the project files again and also the same WU's but a different job xml file this time job_1.28.xml and everything looks OK, I'll see when I stop using the PC if BOINC will start crunching Enigma WU's

I think that when you attached your PC, the server was partially down and this caused problem(s).
Between 26-28 Jun one of the servers was taken offline a dozen of times due to unexpected migration to new host and O/S. It had to be done anyway and I had to get rid of old distro which isn't supported anymore, but my service provider pushed the plans a bit.
It took over 24 hours before I set up everything back, during that time different parts of the backend were taken down randomly.
