I run the following BOINC projects on all my PC's.

Milkyway with a Resource Share of 1000 (90.09%)
Enigma with a Resource share of 100 (9.01%)
SETI with a Resource Share of 10 (0.90%)

For at least the last 3 weeks, one of my PC's ( http://www.enigmaathome.net/results.php?hostid=30667 ) has not had a single Enigma Work Unit to work with. My other PC's have had loads and have several in their queue ready to process all the time

On this one PC that has not had anything I have tried "No New Tasks" then "Allow New Tasks" making sure that I press the BOINC Update button in between. I have even suspended and resumed again with pressing the Update button in between. I have allowed several hours to pass before pressing the Update button however whatever I do all I see in the log file is...

05/03/2011 11:59:57 Enigma@Home update requested by user
05/03/2011 12:00:00 Enigma@Home Sending scheduler request: Requested by user.
05/03/2011 12:00:00 Enigma@Home Not reporting or requesting tasks
05/03/2011 12:00:05 Enigma@Home Scheduler request completed

Any ideas how to force a "Request to download tasks"

Anybody help?

If the clients can not request for new work units then what is the point of have Enigma as a project.

Another of my PC's has started to do the same and not request for new jobs.
For the last 2 days Milkyway@home has been down and therefore could not get any new jobs so I at least thought that Enigma would pick up the slack as it is my backup project on this particular PC but the PC has stood there for 2 days doing nothing with no work units at all and I keep pressing update on Engima project in the BOINC client but it just does a update and states "Not requesting any new tasks".

Sorry for not posting anything, I went to post the details but the engima server was offline and eventually I found out else where that the project had closed but today I happen to be looking through BOINCStats and noticed that the project was alive again.

So I have just added one host to my BAM to process Enigma, BOINC then downloaded Enigma but as of a few hours it has not downloaded a workunit yet as it seems there are no workunits to download from the project server.

Over 24hrs have passed and still BOINC is saying no WU are available but Server Status shows WU for

m3_rxpsb70_p1
remaining 231075

m3_rxpsb70_p4
remaining 11615

Can Enigma stock app not use these?

Sorry, but now 4 days and still not picking up any WU and with no response in these forums to help I have to assume that the project is in reality dead and I shall remove it from my project list. I hope that the small amount of work I did before the main outage (died) a few weeks back goes onto to help the project in some way.

The project isn't dead. It's just out of work at the moment and not sure why. Chances are what ever the issue is will be fixed soon. I still have one system crunching and getting credit for work. This isn't the first time Enigma has ran out of work.
