I'm running a Macbook with Enigma 5.23. Due to a bad battery, my computer abruptly shut down. When I got it running again, BOINC had lost track of how much CPU time I'd put into the tasks in progress. They were getting pretty close to finished, too :(

If I simply let them start up again now, they'll be reported as having run for only an hour or two, and I'll get like 40 credits instead of the 200 or so that I should (as happened the last time BOINC shut down unexpectedly).

Is there some way to force the task to restart from the beginning - like deleting 00hc.resume and results.txt and editing a new start time into init_data.xml and stderr.txt? Or deleting everything in the slot folder? Or is it simply best to abort those tasks and let them be recycled?

Thank you!

Well, I tried making changes to restart them - updated a few things in init_data.xml, removed the second line in 00hc.resume, deleted results.txt... And they choked and died :(

Oh well.
