Yesterday I released new app versions for Linux and Windows.
On Windows, very little was changed, mostly minor fixes around BOINC API code and checkpointing/progress calculations.
Linux version fixes all known/reported wrapper bugs (and hopefully didn't introduce new).
There is also a new platform supported by the server - armv5tel, however the platform-id returned by the client varies on those machines, so if the server says the platform is not supported, you need to submit the platform name (as returned by core client), preferably after veryfiying that the app works.
P.S. I'm looking for someone to build the updated wrapper for Mac.

About the server status:
1. The project handles workunits based on unbroken ciphertexts available on http://www.cryptocellar.org and several dictionaries sets. The M4 project is currently offline/without work. The app used here is Stefan Krah's enigma.
2. Please do not expect the project to have work 24/7/365.
For now, every single batch has to be manually created, sometimes it takes a lot of time, especially when the server has to be patched to support another batch.
Also, the server and my network both have limited capacity. Combined with the number of attached hosts it means every now and then the workunit generator will be stopped for a while if the average server load gets too high (this is done automatically to prevent overloading the server); also there might be periods without work beetween batches, as I have to wait for the older workunits to return before issuing fresh ones.
3. I'm working on automated system which will fix some of the issues listed at #2.
4. The server has support for user-submitted dictionaries, so if you know how to make one and you'd like to try, please PM me.

The updated wrapper should also run fine with the optimized app(s), so I'd recommend overwritting the old one, especially on Linux (as the Linux wrapper was the one that had many bugs).

I have not received any new work since ~ March 12th... Is there something I'm missing with the new app? |

Ditto. I have no work either. I disconnected and re-connected to the project as well to make sure I got the new app.
