Are there any more unbroken codes from that time period we could have a go at? There must be some messages from the Japanese navy that were never decoded, I would have thought.

I hope the project will go on! It is the only real M4 hillclimbing project with enough cpu power to break the M4. (ciphertext only attack)

I see many things of the project, but nothing about the broken massage.

ok, if the message is broken what we do now? what the project is calculating? i downloaded some parts of project, but i don't know what my CPU is processing. what's happening?

This project didn't break the message, which is probably why not much detail about the break is published here.

A link to the project which *did* break it - using a Bombe simulator and manually-written cribs and some major research into possible plaintexts - is right at the top of this thread. You'll need to look under the "Rasch message".
