Just attached 4 new hosts :)

Somewhat surprised that the work has suddenly started flowing unannounced though. But I'm not complaining :)

Hello!

Unnannounced because I was going to do some internal tests only, to check if my new daemons are working properly. Then I noticed that the first batch of few hundreds tasks was gone before I attached my test host, so I decided to release more :D

The project is not yet stable and there will be a break (hopefully not to long) after the first batch of ~20,000 tasks - I have to rewrite some parts of the server software to add support for multiple ciphertexts (M4 project currently has 3 'subservers', each with different part of the last M4 message).

I'm still working far away from home (I'm coming back around 6th Oct), but now I have a crappy internet connection which is better than nothing, so the project development is slowly going ahead.

Welcome back, TJM. Good to see you weren't incorporated into Skynet. :-)

Hi and Welcome Back TJM,

I have a question for stats. Are we suspose to use http://kfd.no-ip.org:443/enigma/stats/ or http://www.enigmaathome.net/stats/ .

Thanks

Bill

Edited: OK Got update at http://www.enigmaathome.net/stats/ just now.

If your server can handle dynamic domains, it doesn't matter, but enigmaathome.net is much faster.

Greetings,

So, what happened?

I got a message in Manager to detach from and then reattach to Enigma to fix some problem. Much to my surprise, even though I was already attached, my account disappeared from the project. So, what's up with that?

Oh, by the way, after re-creating another account and reattaching, I go WUs and will soon be crunching.

Happy crunching!
Sig was attached.

When did you create the first account, Rick. Can you remember? Was it during the prolonged outage or way before that?

I know TJM put a backup back due to some problems with the forums. I don't know if that backup also held newly created accounts.
