Quoted from the home page:

Enigma@Home is a wrapper between BOINC and Stefan Krah's M4 Project. 'The M4 Project is an effort to break 3 original Enigma messages with the help of distributed computing.

Have these messages been decoded? If so, what are we working on? I don't care if the daily crunching rate is high, this project is dead. It's like an "attach it and forget it" project.

No, we're still working on this message.

It could be broken in a few hours, or a few years.

How do you know that? Because none seems to know anything....

The units we're working on start with M4VROLN or something like that. That signifies (in this case) that the message under analysisis part of the M4VROLN message, shown in the link I posted above.

Well, what will happen when these codes are cracked? Will the project die, or will there be something else to work on?

I really hope that it doesn't die - I LOVE this project, and care for cracking codes and cryptography :D

Currently, as TJM have said, there are no more messages to crack at the moment (ignoring the message we're working on).

Ok, but surely there are more unbroken messages out there that we could work on?

Officially, this is the only message at the moment. We've got bunch of time to look for another message, I think there are still some unbroken ones.
