Nope, not quitting. I think you will find that most people crunch for the science, not to make money. I'm not set to make anything via gridcoin nor have any interest in it. It is not like it will cover the cost of the electricity used. Chances are, to actually really get anything, you would need to be one of the top 100 contributors to the BOINC ecosystem to realize anything that could be construed of a material value.

You have done 2,520 in about 13-days. If you look at how gridcoins get distributed per day, you would receive as minuscule amount. The top contributors do way more than 2,520 WU's per hour. They have many GPU's running and getting a lot of credit.

Just for Enigma@Home, yesterday there was a total credit of 7,859,871,527 or close to to 8 billion. You have 111,072 or 8,544 per day. That is the equivalent of .000002% of the total credit just for Enigma@Home. If you look at all BOINC projects, yesterday the total credit was 34,741,348,376. 8,544 is barely a speck on that radar. Sorry to be the bearer of the bad news.

Also, your question would be better answered by Gridcoin. On their page they state this:

Unlock your wallet for staking only, and upon staking you'll recieve DPOR earnings ontop of POS earnings.
Bear in mind, that earnings are dependent on both how much you are owed (from BOINC computation completed) and your Gridcoin balance. If you have a low balance and a low magnitude, you could stake a block (being rewarded POS+POR) only once every few weeks/months.
The payout window has recently been increased from 14 days to 6 months, so even if you're only staking once every 5 months you'll earn your owed BOINC rewards.
If you're not satisfied with your staking rate, you need to increase your Gridcoin balance (due to the nature of proof of stake).

So, you have contributed to this project for 13 days and previously the payout was 14-days and is now 6-months.

Old but that is NOT what that means , the payout window of 6 months is you can still receive payment for your work 6mo latter and have 6 months to open your Gridcoin wallet to collect payment it does not mean every 14 days a person gets paid for work via Gridcoin nor 6 months its usually daily if not multiple payments threw the day. www.gridcoinstats.eu is a great place to get info.

Sorry old thread but was incorrect information , nor is it needed on Enigma's site being non related.
