Profile: trigggl [SETI.USA]

Your personal background.
I'm a five year survivor of a brain tumor, but in spite of that, I'm still able to perform my job as an engineer. I've been doing well after completing the chemo.

Here's the family at Pinnacle State Park in Arkansas.

My main hobby is messing with my Linux computers and learning as much as I can about them. I've learned to create an mp3 server recently on my IBM pSeries running Gentoo Linux. I've been crunching any boinc project that offers source code.

Distributed computing in general is a great idea. Harnessing unused processor cycles can help projects such as this that need large amounts of data processed. If the computers are running, they might as well be doing something useful.

Linux CUDA apps please!
